Part-Time Receptionist – Alcan Products (Sheet Metal Business)
Alcan Products, a busy sheet metal business, is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is professional, dependable, and able to assist with a variety of office and general tasks as needed.
- Greet and assist walk-in customers, suppliers, contractors, and visitors.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls, take accurate messages.
- Handle mail, courier deliveries, and shipping documents
- Perform general clerical duties: filing, data entry, scheduling, and correspondence.
- Maintain reception and office area in a neat and professional manner.
- Support with invoicing, work orders, and basic office paperwork as needed.
- Assist other staff with additional tasks as required to support smooth operations.
- Previous experience in reception or office administration preferred (experience in trades, construction, or manufacturing is an asset)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willing to learn company systems.
- Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of office/operational tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Part-time position with flexible daytime hours (schedule to be discussed)
- Starting pay $20.00/hour.
