We are seeking a passionate and experienced Remote Sustainability Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

The Remote Sustainability Project Manager will be responsible for leading and executing sustainability projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of sustainability principles, project management methodologies, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will drive our sustainability initiatives, ensuring that projects align with our organizational goals and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of sustainability projects to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Develop project plans, including goals, timelines, resources, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify and implement best practices in sustainability.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform project decisions and measure sustainability impacts.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to promote awareness and understanding of sustainability initiatives.
- Prepare and present project updates, reports, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and regulations related to sustainability and recommend necessary adjustments to project strategies.
- Foster a culture of sustainability within the organization by engaging employees and encouraging sustainable practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Project Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in sustainability or environmental initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, practices, and certifications (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
