We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Human Resources Assistant fluent in English and Spanish to support daily HR operations. This role assists with employee records, onboarding, benefits administration, and general HR clerical duties. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including new hire paperwork and orientation support
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR files (physical and electronic)
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR questions, policies, and procedures
- Translate and communicate HR information between English and Spanish as needed
- Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and payroll documentation
- Support benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries
- Schedule interviews, orientations, and HR meetings
- Assist with compliance documentation (I-9s, personnel files, etc.)
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, data entry, copying, and email correspondence
- Support HR team with special projects as assigned
- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
- 1+ year of experience in Human Resources or administrative support preferred- Knowledge of basic HR processes and employment practices
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
