Keyera is currently seeking a Maintenance Lead to join our Simonette Facility near Valleyview, Alberta. This role supports the day-to-day operations and maintenance needs of our facility.
This is a rotational role working a one week in/one week out shift with camp accommodations.
- Lead day-to-day maintenance activities for the plant and field operations
- Responsible for the AMR scheduling process in coordination with Maintenance Planner
- Provide oversight and quality assurance of the AMR workflow process within the maintenance group
- Develop and manage the weekly maintenance schedule and assign work orders to the appropriate crafts
- Adjust the maintenance schedule to accommodate emergency work or changing work priorities
- Work with the Maintenance Planner to ensure maintenance activities are coordinated with Operations team
- In coordination with Operations Leadership - Prioritize, validate and approve incoming Service Requests
- Responsible for managing the maintenance Work Order backlog
- Vet and approve maintenance Job Plans including materials, crafts and durations
- Support facility procurement needs through the SCM process within the financial authority matrix guidelines
- Provide frontline visible leadership presence and reinforcement of our Cultural behaviors and values
- Actively participate in Health and Safety Initiatives within the maintenance group
- Lead Annual Development Reviews with maintenance staff and ensure the continuous growth in their positions
- Journeyman Trade Certification or Technologist Ticket
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in facility and pipeline maintenance
- Minimum of five (5) years' of proven leadership experience supervising field employees
- Shutdown/turnaround experience is an asset
- Previous Maximo maintenance planning/scheduling experience would be considered an asset
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and an incident and injury-free workplace
- Ability to work effectively across department boundaries
- Proven experience in looking for improvement areas
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead a diverse team
- A valid driver’s license and ability to provide 5-year standard driver abstract (clean driver’s abstract)
