is seeking a talented
HR Managerto deliver comprehensive HR support to a manufacturing facility with approximately 90 employees. This role assists with recruitment and retention strategies, ensures compliance with labor agreements, employment laws, and company policies, while fostering a positive work environment. The HR Manager partners with leadership and employees to implement HR programs, labor relations strategies, and talent initiatives that support business objectives.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee administration of human resources policies and programs, which may include recruitment and onboarding, organizational health and safety, training and career development, employee and labor relations, and compensation and benefits planning
- Perform difficult Human Resource duties, including dealing with under staffing, refereeing disputes, terminating employees, and administering disciplinary procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including EEO, FMLA, and FLSA
- Advise the management team in the application of Human Resources programs to departmental operations, as well as advise on Human Resources issues to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, policies, and procedures
- Answer employee/candidate questions about HR policies and offerings
- Communicate to employees/candidates changes to existing policies and offerings, as well as communicate implementation of new programs and policies
- Create and modify reports to share with senior-level management regarding metrics related to turnover, absenteeism, headcount, etc.
- Review and maintain accurate maintenance of personnel and medical files for every employee
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
What You’ll Need To Excel In This Role
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Lead and direct the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions
- Assist the organization in Human Resource strategic planning and implementation of new programs and policies
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices
- Experience in employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with plant leadership and corporate HR.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
