About the Position

Warner Norcross + Judd is seeking a Receptionist to join our team in Kalamazoo. This role is responsible for presenting a professional, client-centered image of the Firm to clients, guests, and firm members. As the first point of contact upon entering our space, the Receptionist plays a critical role in creating a warm and positive impression. In addition to welcoming visitors, this position also performs administrative tasks to support the overall operations of the office.


About the Opportunity


Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome firm members and guests in a welcoming and professional manner.

- Notify firm members of client/guest arrivals.

- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.

- Manage the reception and conference room spaces, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

- Coordinate conference room reservations.

- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

- Assist with event preparation and cleanup as needed.

- Assist with other administrative tasks including but not limited to ordering lunches, filing, copying/scanning, and sorting mail.

The above list is not intended to be all inclusive but provides a general framework for the position. Other related responsibilities will arise from time to time and be assigned to department members.

The physical demands of this potion are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. These include being both mobile and stationary throughout the workday, having the ability to transport 25 pounds and being able to operate a computer and other business equipment found in the office.

About You


Experience, Education and Training:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle privileged and confidential information with discretion

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
