The IT & Communications Specialist will maintain office computers, software, and equipment. They will make sure that software and hardware is up-to-date, fix issues with individual computers, and maintain the network. They will also research new technologies to ensure that the office runs smoothly. In addition to maintaining the electronic hardware, they will manage Google Workspace, online and offline accounts.
The ITC Specialist will communicate with and be managed by the A&HR Director, Deputy GM, and General Manager. They will work closely with department managers to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner.
1. Assist GM and Company in planning and making decisions as it relates to Information and Communication
Technology.
2. Provide the regular upkeep and system maintenance of company computers (hardware and software), printers, and other office equipment - including installing memory, replacing hard drives, fixing broken equipment, maintaining a virus free and secure network.
3. Maintain and update the company website, social media accounts, email newsletters, and other customer communication methods (includes morning, evenings and weekends, as necessary to communicate information to customers and staff).
4. Provide technical and administrative assistance/feedback in relation to company use and maintenance of electronic equipment and accounts such as vehicle GPS, telephones, projectors, email accounts, etc. Includes research and training of effective and efficient use of business technology.
5. Driver License required for use of company vehicles. The employee may be required to travel to various locations to complete assigned duties.
6. Assist and train company staff in use of corporate software as it relates to their respective jobs.
8. The ability to research and learn new technologies (hardware, software, etc.) when required.
9. Overtime or between business hours may be required as necessary.
1. Graphic design experience and the ability to create marketing materials - flyers, brochures, business cards, etc.
2. Customer service experience to communicate with vendors, residential or commercial customers.
3. Experience with or desire to learn operating a vinyl cutter, software, and the application of decals to vehicles, propane tanks, signage, and other Company equipment.
4. Experience with or desire to learn developing marketing plans for real-world and digital implementation.
5. Experience with or desire to learn Apple machines and the Mac OS.
6. Experience with or desire to learn creating interactive spreadsheets with Excel or Google Sheets.
7. Experience with or desire to learn how to run network cable and set up an office network.
Part-time, 32 hours per week. 90-day probationary period required. Additional benefits begin after the end of the probationary period. $13-$14 DOE
