Description
Front desk professional with a friendly attitude and the ability to multitask to serve as a receptionist. In this position, you will greet guests entering the building and help direct them where they need to go. Perform administrative tasks as assigned.
Essential Tasks And Responsibilities
- Answers and directs all phone calls using multiple line phone system, manage calls by routing them to proper extensions or taking messages as needed.
- Greets and assists all visitors and keep accurate records of who is entering and exiting the facility.
- Receives deliveries; sort and distribute mail.
- Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
- Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with safety procedures and rules.
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned.
- High school or equivalent.
- Must be very punctual with strong attendance history.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize workload.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Resourceful team-player and be effective independently.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- MS Office suites: 1 year (preferred).
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred).
- Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
- Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).
- Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.
- Spends 100% of the time in an office environment.
- Is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Is occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
