OSP Design Technologist

Join our growing team at WesTower Communications Ltd. As OSP Design Technologist!

The OSP Design Technologist will be responsible for preparing drawings for outside plant design deliverables. This includes design and drafting of aerial and underground design packages for Permitting, Review, Construction and As-Built’s for our clients.

Qualifications:

- Graduate from an accredited technical school (CET.) or equivalent

- 2 years’ experience as an OSP designer is an asset.

- Previous experience working in the telecommunication industry is an asset.

- GIS knowledge and experience is an asset.

- Field Survey and data collection knowledge and experience is an asset.

- Proficient in AutoCAD Software including Civil 3D.

- Proficient in Microsoft office suite

- Proficient with Bluebeam or equivalent pdf program

- Fluent in English, oral and written.

- Must be authorized to work in Canada.

- Clean Criminal record

- Maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers and clients.

- Must be dependable, trustworthy, and have a positive attitude.

- Effective verbal and listening communications skills.

- Time management, and multi-tasking skills.
