The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The BDM plays a key role in expanding the company's market presence through strategic partnerships, customer acquisition, and innovative growth strategies. This position also collaborates with other departments as needed to carry out key initiatives, align strategies with executive management's vision, and provide leadership consistent with PTL's values.
- Identify, research, and target potential clients and business opportunities in alignment with company goals.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth targets.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to support lead generation and brand awareness.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends, competition, and customer needs.
- Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences.
- Track, report, and manage business development performance metrics using CRM tools.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and business cases for new opportunities.
- Provide feedback to internal teams on market demands, product enhancements, and potential opportunities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Must drive a minimum of 5k miles annually to be eligible for Motus.
- Valid and current driver's license.
- Have and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
