Reporting to the Mine Operations Superintendent, the Administrative Assistant provides adminstrative and clerical support to the Mine Operations team. The role ensure the office runs smoothly and provides additional support to other departments as needed.
- Manage day to day office administration.
- Manage the mail, meeting rooms and couriers.
- Create and edit documents.
- Maintain department schedule by arranging meetings, conferences, and travel.
- Take and draft meeting minutes.
- Make travel arrangements and manage expense reports.
- Assist in coordinating special projects and community events.
- Order office and kitchen supplies.- 3+ years of experience in office administration.
- Post-secondary education in business or office administration is an asset.
- Manage competing priorities with frequent interruptions.
- Takes initiative and works independently.
- SAP Concur experience is an asset.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to develop and maintain collaborative relationships, internally and externally.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
