About the Role

Are you looking for an exciting summer internship experience? AltaGas is looking for an Investor Relations and Corporate Development Intern to join our team this May to August 2026!

This internship offers exposure to two key areas of a publicly traded energy company: Investor Relations and Corporate Development. You will learn how companies communicate with investors, analyze market trends, and evaluate strategic opportunities. This role provides a high-level understanding of financial markets, corporate strategy, and stakeholder engagement.

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities may include:

- Supporting research and data gathering to assist with investor communications and strategic projects.

- Helping prepare general materials for meetings, presentations, and internal discussions.

- Learning about market trends, financial performance, and how these influence corporate decisions.

- Assisting with ad hoc tasks and projects to support team objectives.

What You’ll Bring

- Currently enrolled in a Business, Finance, Economics, or related program.

- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with financial concepts is an asset.

- Clear communication skills and willingness to learn.
