Job Overview
Viacore Langley is looking for a highly organized, self-motivated, and experienced Administrative assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, safety-conscious, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They should be reliable, punctual, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively with various departments to ensure smooth operations across purchasing, inventory control, and logistics.
- Inventory management:
- Follow instructions related to inventory management from Corporate Supply Chain Team
- Industry trends: Stay up to date with industry trends.
- Report preparation: Prepare relevant reports for supervisors.
- Belt allocation/Belt Cuts
- Purchasing Inventory for branch needs
- Collaborates with sales, service, and logistics departments to maximize efficiency in the purchasing and inventory control department.
- Communicates with suppliers to resolve problems that may arise regarding delivery, quality, price, or conditions of sale.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Other administrative duties
- Sales order and Quote entry
- • Previous experience in administrative/office duties preferred
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an asset.
- Safety-conscious and compliant with company and industry standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and in a team environment
