Manual Machinist Location: Salina, KS, 67401
Job Summary
- Exline, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-driven Manual Machinist
to join our team in Salina, Kansas. This role is responsible for setting
up and operating conventional and special-purpose manual machine tools,
with limited CNC support as needed, to fabricate metallic and
non-metallic parts to precise specifications.
- This position is ideal for a mechanically minded professional with
strong manual machining experience and 12 years of CNC exposure, who
takes pride in craftsmanship, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work safely at all times, following established safety procedures
- Set up and operate manual machine tools including engine lathes,
mills, boring mills, grinders, jig borers, and shapers.
- Utilize CNC knowledge to assist with automated machining tasks
- Review and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals,
specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances,
machining sequence, and setup requirements.
- Measure and mark reference points on materials or workpieces as
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools,
- Calculate and set machining parameters such as speed, feed,
- Start and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or
