What You’ll Be Doing
Operate manual lathes – turning, boring, threading
Run manual mills – drilling, tapping, boring
Machine, repair, and rebuild components for electric motors and rotating equipment
Perform metal spraying (metallizing), grinding, and broaching
Complete brazing, soldering, and light welding work
Use band saws, belt sanders, and other shop equipment
Hold tight tolerances using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
Take ownership of your work—from setup to finished product
What We’re Looking For
Experience operating manual (non-CNC) machining equipment
A strong sense of craftsmanship and attention to detail
Mechanical ability—you understand how parts function and fit together
Ability to work to precise measurements and specifications
Welding, brazing, or soldering experience is a plus
Reliable, self-driven, and takes pride in a job well done
