inspector/Manual machinist

We are currently seeking an EXPERIENCED manual machinist for: in shop, day shift position.

The primary function of this position will be inspection of new machined components. This will involve reading blueprints, identifying critical dimensions, physically measuring, and documenting the findings. It will also include coordinating and moving parts to shipping/receiving, and uploading documentation. As a secondary function, inspecting and documenting findings of used torn down components may be required. Lastly in the event that all inspections are complete, you should be prepared to manufacture complete machined components by using a manual machine process.

Manual experience with, but not limited to: Engine Lathes, Knee mills, Horizontal mills, VTL. All applicants must have the ability to read and manufacture from blueprints. Applicants should also be proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments.

Periodic overtime is required, starting pay is based on experience. All applicants must have a valid drivers license, pass a background check, and a hair follicle drug test. No exceptions.
