We are looking for a versatile machinist to join our production team. This is a dynamic role for a well-rounded machinist who is equally comfortable setting up complex CNC milling operations as they are operating manual equipment. We need a skilled setup professional who can work with our Engineering team to prove out new programs and maintain high-tolerance production. You will be responsible for the physical execution of complex components, ensuring that every part that leaves your machine is made accurately.
- CNC & Manual Execution: Setup and operate a wide array of equipment including CNC Mills, CNC Routers, manual lathes, horizontal boring mills (HBM), and surface grinders.
- Secondary Operations: Perform precision drilling, sawing (horizontal and vertical band saws), rolling and bending, and finishing using drill presses and grinding equipment.
- Precision Inspection: Verify part accuracy using standard metrology tools, including micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges, ensuring compliance with blueprints.
- Mechanical Assembly: Assemble components according to technical drawings and/or specifications.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret manufacturing drawings, GD&T symbols, and technical specifications to ensure setup and execution align with requirements.
- Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on machines (coolant levels, lubrication, and chip removal) to ensure maximum up time.
- Material Handling: Safely load/unload materials utilizing fork trucks and basic rigging techniques.
- Shipping & Receiving: Package and crate parts for shipment to ensure they arrive at the customer site in pristine condition.
- Shop Stewardship: Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient production flow.
- Safety & Professionalism: Adhere to all company health and safety policies, performing every task with a "safety-first" mindset.o 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
o Basic experience with manual mills and lathes is a plus.
o Proven experience setting up and operating CNC Mills with FANUC controllers a plus.
- Graduate of a recognized technical school with a degree in machining or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
o Ability to read, interpret, and perform minor edits to G-Code and M-Code.
o Ability to read, understand, and follow engineering drawings and other written work instructions.
- Able to use a computer for communication with others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills.

· The hourly rate for this position is between $25 to $35 per hour, plus overtime.
