The Inside Sales Representative works directly with Aerospace customers and clients to provide Atlas Specialty Products with a point of contact for placing orders, requesting quotes, obtaining order status, and providing feedback on Atlas Specialty Products’ performance. The Inside Sales Representative will provide excellent customer service and perform duties with a professional demeanor to provide customers with a positive experience with the company.
- Communicating with clients and customers about their experiences with a product or service
- Answering client or customer questions about properly using or accessing a product or service
- Establish pricing on quotes after reviewing cost data and other relevant considerations, ensuring target margins are achieved.
- Provide excellent customer service: respond quickly to calls and emails. Maintain a positive professional attitude and provide helpful and polite feedback in all customer interactions.
- Open new customer accounts
- Processing orders and transactions such as RFQs and providing quotes in online portals and in Atlas Specialty Product’s ERP software.
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction. Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
- Providing proactive customer outreach such as proactively asking customers for quote feedback, reviewing historical transactions, and finding out customer’s business needs.
- Collecting and analyzing customer feedback can also be a part of their Inside Sales job tasks. There are numerous ways to automate feedback collection. ISR may also personally follow up with customers to find out how Atlas Specialty Products customer service worked for them. In addition, take notes of their suggestions on what can potentially be improved.
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and email.
- Tracking customer service KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and metrics.
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative
- Track record of over-achieving quotas
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Possesses a strong focus on sales growth via customer service and has strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in written formats such as emails, memos, and PowerPoint slides.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, listen and address customers’ concerns, issues, and questions.
- Attract customers by promoting the product and company positively, answering questions and addressing concerns as they arise.
- Prepare product and customer reports by gathering data collected during customer interactions.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to work with large data sets.

- Highschool diploma, college level or college graduate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Aerospace company and Manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or marketing is a plus.
