The Human Resources Administrator provides administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources department. This role focuses on benefits administration support, employee onboarding coordination, recruiting and interview scheduling assistance, front desk and visitor coverage, and support of company events. The position operates under established procedures and direction from HR leadership.
- Provides administrative support for employee benefits programs, including processing benefit invoices, assisting with reconciliations, coordinating enrollments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Sets up new hires in benefit portals and HR systems in accordance with established procedures.
- Responds to routine employee questions related to benefits, enrollment timelines, and HR processes, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Maintains and updates employee data in HR systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assists with HR compliance activities by maintaining required documentation, records, and files in support of federal, state, and company reporting requirements.
- Supports routine and annual HR reporting activities (such as benefits audits, enrollment reporting, or regulatory filings) by gathering data, preparing documentation, and coordinating information as directed.
- Supports recruiting and hiring activities by coordinating interview schedules for candidates and internal participants.
- Works closely with recruiters and hiring managers to collect availability, schedule interviews, and communicate logistics to all parties.
- Serves as an administrative point of contact for candidates regarding interview timing, directions, and general interview logistics.
- Provides front desk and lobby coverage during visits from customers, vendors, auditors, and other guests attending the factory.
- Greets visitors professionally, manages sign-in procedures, and notifies internal staff of arrivals.
- Assists with company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities, including logistical coordination and on-site support.
- Orders, stocks, and maintains refreshments for visitors and meetings, including lunches, water, soda, and related supplies.
- Helps maintain organization and cleanliness of refrigerators, break areas, and visitor-facing spaces.
- Performs general administrative tasks such as filing, document preparation, and data entry.
- Performs other duties or special projects as required or assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree or coursework in Business, Human Resources, Office Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of administrative or office support experience required, preferably in a professional office environment.
- Experience supporting personnel administration, employee records, schedule, or general office operations required.
- Prior experience in human resources, benefits administration, recruiting coordination, or a customer-facing office environment preferred
- None required.
- HR-related certifications are a plus but not required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to follow established procedures and work under supervision.
- Professional and customer-service oriented communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Comfortable working with HR systems, benefit portals, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Uses personal computer approximately 6–8 hours per day.
- Uses telephone and email to communicate with employees, management, and external contacts approximately 6–8 hours per day.
- Sits approximately 4–6 hours per day; may stand or walk periodically when greeting visitors or supporting meetings and events.
- Work is performed in a professional office and manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
