We are MAKRs – Our common goal, our passion, is to create global communities connected through play and social experiences. The MAKR Group is comprised of three brands: Waterplay, a global splash pad provider; Parkworks, a Western Canadian park space supplier; and Wekid Mfg., Canada’s most playfully professional steel manufacturing team.
With tens of thousands of play and park space installations worldwide, we’ve helped millions of people of all ages and abilities access fun, inviting, and “go-backable” recreation spaces. What makes us jump out of bed every morning is knowing we’re integral to creating these meaningful places, and we need people like you to help us build them!
You’re energized by building brands with purpose, clarity, and heart, and you care deeply about how they show up in the world. You love storytelling, design, and communication, stay curious about trends, and are always looking for smarter, more compelling ways to connect with audiences. You bring perspective (not just opinions) and know how to guide teams toward stronger outcomes through collaboration, clear ownership, and shared goals. As a people-first leader, you enjoy coaching and mentoring others, set a high bar for quality, and foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and trust.
You inject fun into all aspects of your work and invite others to do the same. We’re a different kind of company, and we’re looking for a different kind of individual to join our team!
