Administrative Assistant - Mingo Junction, OH

SMS Mill Services, LLC in Mingo Jucntion, OH is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. This position will be responsible for performing daily office administration duties, reporting to the Operations Manager.

- Execute the daily administrative office functions to meet the needs of the organization.

- Conduct necessary requisitioning for goods/services as needed and receipting packing slips in ERP system daily

- Manage spare parts inventory

- Manage slag sales

- Assist with Payroll – tracking, calculating, input and monitoring time & attendance.

- Assist employees with HR related issues: new hire paperwork, forms, changes, etc.

- Work as part of the team to meet, or exceed, KPI (Key Performance Indictor) efficiency and performance standards.

- Maintain Toolbox Talk files for use by Operations.

- Maintain JSA files for the job site.

- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, customers and vendors.

- Effectively communicate with all levels in the organization.

Requirements:

- Prior experience working in a heavy industrial setting or industrial site is a plus.

- Experience working with an ERP system such as Oracle or SAP

- Experience working with Paychex

- Exceptional people and problem-solving skills.

- An ability to prioritize/manage time effectively.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Intermediate to advance level knowledge of Excel is preferred.
