Summary

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic team in Newburgh, NY. This role is crucial in ensuring timely collection of payments and maintaining accurate financial records, directly contributing to our mission of delivering outstanding service to our customers.

Responsibilities

- Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.

- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.

- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes.

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries regarding billing.

- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

- Generate regular reports on receivables status for management review.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in accounts receivable or related accounting roles.

- Strong understanding of financial concepts.

- Proficiency in accounting software

- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.

- Strong analytical skills for account reconciliation and reporting.

- Effective communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
