Position Summary

The Roof Lead will work under the Crew Lead and will provide leadership and technical expertise to the installation teams.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

- Support safe installation practices and job site cleanliness

- Lead re-roof jobs; assist solar PV installs as needed

- Pull and track inventory for roofing projects

- Document completed work

- Attend required training and safety meetings

- Operate company vehicle safely

- Handle trenching, concrete work, and equipment assembly

- Mount racking and seal penetrations properly

- Use PPE and maintain a safe, clean work environment

- Travel may be required

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Requirements

- High school diploma or GED

- 1+ year experience, 6+ months in a lead role

- Electrical and roof racking experience required

- Comfortable with heights and physical labor

- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Physical Demands

- Frequent standing, climbing, kneeling, and lifting

- Use of hand and power tools

- Work in varying weather conditions

- Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
