With more than 1,000 members—including over 700 utilities serving the majority of American households—the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) helps utilities, technology providers, and policymakers identify and share practical solutions to some of the most consequential energy challenges of our time. SEPA’s impact depends on engagement and influence; as Director of Marketing, Strategy & Engagement, you will ensure SEPA’s growing portfolio of in-person and virtual events, online education, research deliverables, publications, working groups, and peer engagements effectively reaches the right stakeholders to drive progress toward a clean, resilient, and affordable energy future.
Reporting to the Chief Communications Officer and leading three direct reports, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and performance of marketing efforts across digital platforms, campaigns, and member engagement initiatives. SEPA prioritizes diversity within its workforce and across the energy industry. We recognize that a diverse and inclusive workforce drives innovation, creativity, and better decision-making.
- Design and implement marketing strategies that reflect SEPA’s strategic priorities and messaging. Translate SEPA’s research, events, and working group content into clear, high-impact marketing campaigns to drive member engagement, program enrollment, and policy influence.
