Minnkota Power Cooperative is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student for a Technical Support Intern to join our team for the summer of 2026. The internship, located at our Grand Forks, ND offices, offers hands-on experience supporting Information Technology (IT) infrastructure in a professional environment.
The pay range for this internship begins at $19.57 per hour. Appropriate pay will be determined based on a candidate's level of completed education and relevant experience. This is a temporary, non-benefited position.

The Technical Support Intern position reports to the Energy Management System (EMS) Supervisor. This role will assist the team through learning and understanding Minnkota’s systems and supporting the following responsibilities:

An employee filling this role is expected to meet changing and unique goals and objectives, as established by their supervisor, related to the broader area in which the employee is assigned.
- Currently enrolled in a technology-related program of study and pursuing a degree in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science or a related field.
- Familiarity with Windows system administration
- Interest in cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g. NERC CIP, NIST)
