Pay range: $20.00 - $21.00/hour (first year interns $20.00/hour, returning interns $21.00/hour)
Employment Status: Temporary (May - August full-time, 40 hours per week)
Potential (September - December part-time, 20 hours per week)
The Technical Training Intern is tasked with develop intuitive, engaging, and consistent computer-based (CBT) technical training courses. This position is part of a newly created department responsible for the development of training content and documentation of said training. The intern will be the conduit through which NWE employees receive and apply Technical Skills and Knowledge to be applied to their everyday work. Will be exposed to many aspects of utility work, NorthWestern Energy as a Company, and its employees.
- Develop a variety of training courses for various departments in a modern utility environment
- Format training content and documentation
- Identify and apply imagery and audio appropriate for the training content
- Assist in the review and implementation of course feedback
- Will assist in creating a Training Content Library
- Review, categorize, and organize existing training documentation
- Catalog images for use in future training courses
- Participate in organizational work meetings

- Student must have completed Freshman level or higher by start date
