We’re hiring a Level 2 Technical Sales Representative to manage mid-sized accounts, quote more complex work, and play a direct role in shaping customer expectations. At this level, you’re expected to understand fabrication processes well enough to quote accurately with minimal oversight.
You’ll balance incoming requests with proactive account development and provide customers with the clear, confident communication they expect from a technical partner—not an order taker.
- Manage and grow a defined set of accounts with consistent, proactive communication
- Quote complex parts and multi-step jobs with accurate materials, processes, and lead times
- Review detailed drawings and assemblies, identifying missing or conflicting information
- Work directly with drafting, fabrication, and operations to ensure quotes match real capability
- Track your pipeline, follow up on open quotes, and convert profitable opportunities
- Identify high-value customers, recurring work, and longer-term growth opportunities
- Maintain clean, complete documentation in all customer-facing communication
- 2–5 years of technical sales, estimating, or manufacturing experience
- Strong ability to interpret drawings, assemblies, and fabrication requirements
- Working knowledge of materials, tolerances, and common shop processes
- Clear communication skills and a steady, professional presence with customers
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and quote loads without dropping details
- Valid driver’s license and insurability
- $60,000–$75,000/year based on experience
- Incentive Potential: Higher commission rate tied to closed work and account expansion
