Site Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong management capabilities, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard software and tools. This role involves coordinating teams, ensuring project quality, maintaining safety standards, and managing project schedules and budgets to ensure successful project delivery. The Site Supervisor will serve as the primary point of contact on-site, ensuring all work complies with specifications, safety regulations, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects progress according to schedule and specifications

- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, labor crews, and vendors to maintain workflow efficiency

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution

- Utilize construction management software such as Primavera P6, HeavyBid, ProCore, and Bluebeam for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation

- Monitor quality control measures to ensure adherence to safety standards (OSHA) and project specifications

- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues related to safety or quality and implement corrective actions

- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective resource utilization

- Prepare progress reports and communicate updates effectively with stakeholders

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols on-site

- Assist in contract administration and review project contracts for scope clarity and compliance

Experience

- Proven management experience in construction supervision or site management roles

- Extensive construction site experience across various types of projects including pipelines or heavy civil works

- Proficiency with construction management software such as Primavera P6, Bluebeam, ProCore, HeavyBid, or similar tools

- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating, and project scheduling techniques

- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols on construction sites

- Demonstrated supervising experience with teams of diverse tradespeople and subcontractors

- Ability to read technical schematics using tools like ohmmeter or similar testing equipment is a plus

- Experience managing project budgets and performing construction management tasks such as quality control and contract oversight
