Summary/Objective:
The
Site Supervisoris responsible for an overall profitable operation providing various service offerings to the heavy industrial, manufacturing, refining and power industries. The
Site Supervisorwill assemble and lead the required cross-functional team to achieve agreed cost, schedule, quality, operability, and safety objectives established for the project.
Responsibilities:
- Execute projects consistent with approved project objectives and assume accountability for overall HSE, cost, and schedule performance during development, execution, commissioning, and startup of projects.
- Coach, mentor and document crew performance concerns and policy and procedure violations.
- Strong commitment to safety and successfully developed a strong safety culture.
- Follows all company policies, processes, and acts in a safe manner.
- Responsible for the site’s revenue and expenses.
- Accountable for delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Plans and coordinates with sales, staff, purchasing, logistics, finance to ensure projects meet cost and customer expectations.
- Manages labor to meet utilization objectives and focuses on labor relations, OSHA, worker’s compensation regulations/laws.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate tracking of labor costs and materials, identifies and reduces waste (e.g., material, time, equipment, etc.)
- Actively looks for opportunities to add other service lines to the site
- Proven track record of people management skills.
- Solid understanding of equipment utilization.
- Work schedules may include extended work hours, overnight and weekends when needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental, industrial, chemical manufacturing, refineries, or power industries.- Management experience demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills required.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with working knowledge of equipment procurement and construction.
- Cost estimating experience highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity and a positive attitude
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods of time if necessary.
- Physically capable of climbing, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously.
