SERVICE MANAGER – SANTA FE SPRINGS

Collicutt Energy Services is a solutions-driven engine company specializing in custom manufacturing, repair, overhaul, and maintenance across all engine brands and industries. We are currently seeking a Service Manager to join our Santa Fe Springs service operations team. This role is hands-on leadership – owning service execution, team performance, customer satisfaction, and department profitability

What You’ll Do:

- Lead all field and shop service operations to Collicutt’s quality standards

- Manage, mentor, and develop Service Technicians to improve skill, efficiency, and performance

- Oversee quoting, job execution, job closure, and coordination with accounting for invoicing

- Respond quickly to customer and technician needs; remove roadblocks

- Drive department efficiency, recovery rates and overall profitability

Key Responsibilities:

- Support troubleshooting of engines, generators, and compressors

- Ensure service programs, quality plans, and safety policies are followed

- Review financials, budgets, and KPIs for the service department

- Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams

- Participate in sales calls and client visits to grow service business

Qualifications and Skills

Required

- 5-10 years of experience in power generation and/or gas compression

- Strong leadership experience in a service or technical environment

- Proven a manage people, processes, and priorities simultaneously

- Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making skills

- High initiative, accountability, and attention to detail

Preferred

- Trade certification or university degree

- Experience with ERP systems

- Strong understanding of parts, service, and inventory workflows

Starting Pay: based on experience $70,000-$90,000
