Brown Equipment Company is looking for a

Service Team Lead

who can do more than just manage a shop — we’re looking for someone who can lead technicians, solve problems, and keep our customers’ equipment working when it matters most.

If you’re the type of person who can diagnose a problem, organize the chaos of a busy shop, and still jump in to help the team when needed, we want to talk to you.

This role is perfect for someone who has strong mechanical experience and leadership instincts — someone who enjoys mentoring technicians while making sure the work gets done right. What You'll Be Doing

As our

Service Team Lead

, you’ll be the go-to person in the shop making sure everything runs smoothly.

You’ll

- Lead and support a team of skilled service technicians

- Coordinate shop workflow, scheduling, and job assignments

- Communicate with customers and provide repair estimates

- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

- Perform inspections and ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards

- Oversee technician training, onboarding, and performance

- Help keep the shop organized, productive, and running efficiently

You’ll play a key role in making sure our customers receive reliable equipment and top-notch service.

What You Bring ✔ 5+ years of hands-on mechanical experience

✔ At least 2 years leading or supervising technicians

✔ Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

✔ Ability to communicate clearly with both technicians and customers

✔ A team-first mindset and strong organizational skills

✔ Valid driver’s license (CDL B preferred)
