Sales Support Representativewho is eager to learn our business from the ground up. This is a dynamic "hybrid" role designed for someone with a high level of technical curiosity. You will provide the critical administrative backbone for our current sales team while undergoing active mentorship and training to transition into a full-scale Sales role. - Assist in generating and managing sales quotes, ensuring accuracy in pricing, specifications, and delivery schedules.
- Process sales orders and maintain accurate and comprehensive records using the CRM and ERP systems.
- Address customer inquiries regarding product availability, order status, and general information.
- Collaborate with Production and Logistics to provide timely updates.
- Prepare sales presentations, organize essential customer files, and assist the sales team with compiling weekly/monthly sales activity reports and forecasts.
- Maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) database by accurately logging customer interactions, updating contact information, and tracking sales pipeline activities.
- Coordinate the shipment and tracking of product samples to prospective customers.
- Actively seek out and cultivate a deep understanding of our manufacturing processes, product specifications, material science, and applications through collaboration with engineering and production teams.
- Assist in identifying and researching potential new clients, market trends, and competitive activities within the assigned territory or vertical.
- Shadow senior sales managers on sales calls, customer site visits, and trade shows to gain firsthand experience in B2B selling, negotiation, and relationship building.
- Assist with coordinate trade show displays and attend trade shows.
- Assist with product launches, product training, coordinating displays for the demonstration lab, and operate the loading simulation.
- Support initial lead qualification and perform outbound calls to pre-screen potential opportunities as directed by the sales manager.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or administrative support role.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Demonstrate continuous learning and initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, self-starter attitude with a strong desire to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
