We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly communicative Customer Service and Sales Support professional to join our office team. This role is the front line of our business and plays a critical part in supporting customers from the initial call through final order fulfillment.
You will field incoming calls and emails, work directly with customers to methodically assemble sales orders, and develop expert-level knowledge of our products. This position requires someone who enjoys learning technical products, thinking through design and material considerations, and catching potential issues before they become problems.
- Field incoming phone calls and emails from customers in a professional, responsive manner• Manage customer orders from start to finish, including estimates, sales orders, and work orders• Learn and become an expert in RDCA products, materials, finishes, and applications• Work closely with customers and buyers to ensure correct product, metal, and design pairing• Identify and proactively address potential design, material, or specification issues• Present accurate pricing, product options, and delivery information• Enter and maintain customer and order data with a high level of accuracy• Coordinate with suppliers as needed to confirm lead times and delivery expectations• Recommend complementary or required items to improve order completeness and outcomes• Maintain up-to-date customer records and documentation• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, and internal team members• Support management and overall operations as needed
- High school diploma required• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies or potential issues• Comfortable working with customers, technical products, and order-driven workflows• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple open orders at once• Proficient with computers and office software• Experience with QuickBooks, CRM systems, or order entry systems is a plus, but not required• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow established processes
