We are seeking a Sales Support professional with experience in the construction industry who can effectively communicate with architects, contractors, partners, and internal sales staff. This role manages inbound leads, maintains CRM accuracy, supports the sales team, and ensures timely follow-up on all sales-related inquiries. Candidates must be comfortable using construction terminology and understand the urgency tied to architectural requests, project timelines, and materials specifications.
- Monitor and respond to inbound leads and website submissions.
- Qualify leads and assign them to sales representatives or partners.
- Maintain accurate and updated records in HubSpot.
- Track follow-ups, update deal stages, and generate reports as needed.
- Provide architects and contractors with specifications, drawings, warranties, certifications, and other required technical information.
- Prioritize urgent submittal requests and document needs tied to active construction projects.
- Understand how material requirements and timelines impact the sales cycle.
- Conduct weekly check-ins with Knotwood sales partners to ensure they have the tools and support needed.
- Log all interactions and escalate concerns to the Sales Manager when necessary.
- Assist customers and partners with product information, quotes, and documentation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound calls using Aircall.
- Route calls to the appropriate team members and maintain call logs.
- Support phone system updates and basic troubleshooting.
- Assist in company events and outings
- Experience in the construction industry, architectural products, building materials, or related field.
- Ability to communicate using construction-related terminology.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Experience using CRM software (HubSpot preferred).
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with architectural submittals, specifications, and project timelines.
- Experience working with architects, contractors, or manufacturers’ reps.
