The Sales Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting our direct field sales teams by serving as the primary liaison between field sales representatives and the corporate office. This position ensures smooth operations for our door-to-door and inside sales efforts, handling administrative, logistical, and compliance-related tasks to enable our sales reps to focus on closing deals. This is a hands-on, in-office role at our headquarters in Lehi, Utah.
- Onboard new sales representatives, including paperwork, training coordination, and system setup; manage offboarding processes as needed.
- Coordinate housing arrangements for field sales teams, including bookings, payments, and resolutions for any issues.
- Track and manage sales incentives, housing deductions, fees, and related financial reconciliations.
- Oversee the distribution and coordination of company swag, uniforms, and sales materials.
- Ensure sales representatives maintain proper licensing and compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Facilitate clear communication between field sales teams and back-office departments, including commissions processing, sales operations, and project management.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for sales representatives, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries.
- Provide administrative support to field teams, troubleshoot operational issues, and contribute to process improvements.- 2+ years of experience in sales operations, administrative support, or a similar role, preferably in sales-heavy environments (solar, direct sales, or related industries a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience acting as a liaison between teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM or sales tracking software.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in tracking incentives, deductions, and compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an in-office environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in the solar industry and/or door-to-door sales operations
- Knowledge of sales incentives, commissions, and field team logistics.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations, or a related field (or equivalent
