We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Revenue and Receivable Clerk to support our finance team. This role is responsible for accurately recording revenue, managing accounts receivable, processing customer payments, and ensuring timely collections while maintaining strong internal controls.
- Process and record revenue transactions in accordance with company policies
- Prepare, issue, and distribute customer invoices and statements
- Receive, verify, and post customer payments (EFT, cheque, wire, credit card)
- Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
- Prepare monthly revenue and receivable reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain accurate financial and customer records
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
- Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (preferred)
- 5–7 years of experience in revenue, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition and receivables processes
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Effective communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with high-volume billing environments
- Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards (ASPE/IFRS)
- Experience in collections and dispute resolution
- Experience with Adagio considered an asset
