Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of diverse project management methodologies. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and implement best practices to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

- Develop detailed project plans utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Project Server.

- Coordinate requirements gathering sessions and facilitate effective project planning using methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or PMBOK.

- Oversee project execution by supervising team members and managing resources efficiently.

- Implement change management processes to adapt to evolving project needs.

- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure necessary services and products.

- Conduct risk management activities to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.

- Utilize tools such as Jira, Trello, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration.

- Ensure quality management standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

- Monitor project progress through data analysis, reporting, and presentation of status updates to stakeholders.

- Drive continuous improvement by applying best practices in IT project management, requirements management, and product development.

Skills

- Extensive experience with project management methodologies including PMBOK, Agile (SAFe), Kanban, and Waterfall.

- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Trello, SharePoint, Workday, Basecamp, and Project Server.

- Strong leadership capabilities with supervising experience in managing diverse teams.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Expertise in vendor management, negotiation, risk management, and requirements gathering.

- Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or Oracle ERP is preferred.

- Data analysis skills for effective data collection and reporting.

- Familiarity with product management processes and product development lifecycle.

- Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement and presentation delivery.
