Project Manager

Who we are:

The Fitts Company, Inc (FITTS) manufactures and installs interior brand elements, signage, and ATM enhancements nationwide. We work with national and regional accounts in the financial, medical, architectural, corporate, government, and retail industries.

Essential Functions:

- Works on assigned projects to ensure timely service delivery, account profitability, and asset management.

- Provides overall account management, coordinating with installers, customer representatives, and Sales, Engineering, Art, Accounting, Technical Services, Production and Purchasing to ensure customer needs are met.

- Maintains and updates web-based information system with detail status of projects assigned.

- Manages surveys that may require the employee to interface with the customer to change or modify the design of the fascia project.

- Employee may need to travel with sales personnel or alone and at as a technical advisor.

- Works in partnership with customer, architect, and general contractor, outside vendors, plant personnel and installers to coordinate the final design, layout, installation, and billing of sign packages.

- Coordinates and ensures necessary surveys and permits are secured on a timely basis.

- Resolves problems and disputes in the field, including quality, schedule, and financial issues.

- Resolves warranty issues, resolves field issues including punch list items.

- Develops project plans and maintains information on project status.

- Works with other project team members to ensure the total coordination of planning, manufacturing, and installation activities for the customer.

- Provides a point of contact for customer representatives regarding on-going project questions and issues. Identifies and resolves customer issues. Ensures proactive customer communications.

Preferred Experience

- 5+ years: Managing sign projects in various aspects and size. - 5+ years: Proficient in reading blueprints and construction drawings. - 5+ years: Professional work experience in managing contractors and assets.

- AS or BS in business, engineering or a construction-related field, or equivalent work experience in sign-related project management or other people/asset management.

- Project Management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
