Product Support Specialist

Summary

Provide technical support for troubleshooting efforts to both internal and external customers.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

- Respond to requests for technical support from EFX service, engineering, and manufacturing as well as requests from customers.

- Provide direct assistance in the field as required.

- Participate in product improvement efforts in conjunction with the Houston manufacturing facility

Qualifications

- 20 years’ experience with the following.

- Thorough working knowledge of industrial reciprocating compressors (Ariel, Dresser Rand, etc.) including all aspects of commissioning and troubleshooting.

- Thorough working knowledge of industrial natural gas engines (Caterpillar, Waukesha, etc.) including all aspects of commissioning and troubleshooting.

- Thorough working knowledge of large-scale natural gas compression facilities.

- Working knowledge of PLC based control systems.

- Willing to travel both domestically and abroad when required

Physical Requirements

Fast-paced general office environment. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity. Domestic and international travel is possible on occasion.
