Job Description:

Hampel Oil Distributors, Inc. is a family-owned and operated wholesale distributor of finished petroleum products that was started in 1976 by Al Hampel. Hampel Oil has a full-time position available. Our Operations Manager will average 50 hours per week.

- Average pay range: $70K - $85K a year.

- Work a typical schedule of 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM Monday - Friday

What Will You Do:

- Oversee day-to-day operations at the branch and help to achieve sales, customer service and profitability goals and objectives while improving productivity and efficiency

- Build strong relationships with customers, vendors and the community

- Develop employees and company culture by promoting mutual respect for each other, a positive regard for company growth, training, development, and retention of employees.

- Support and demonstrate company culture and values with coworkers and customers

- Always put safety first

Job Requirements:

- 2 years supervisory experience with strong leadership and decision-making skills including proven experience successfully coaching and mentoring employees

- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated project management skills that deliver our intended scope on-time and within budget

- Proficient in the use of computers and software (SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.)

What Will Make You Stand Out:

- CDL A or B License with Tanker & Hazmat

- Forklift experience

- 2 years management experience in the fuel and lubricant industry

- Knowledge of the Hampel Oil’s business and customer base
