ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
McDougall Energy is looking to fill an Office Administration role at our Chatham operation.
Reporting to the Operations Manager this position is responsible for:
•Providing excellent customer service, building quality relationships with customers.
•Assisting with answering incoming calls and attending to customer inquiries.
•Greeting customers and discussing the services required or providing information regarding the benefits of our services.
•Ensuring all customer enquiries are addressed and handled professionally and diplomatically, leaving the customer with a positive resolution.
•Collaborating with other departments / branches to ensure full customer satisfaction with the company's products and services.
•Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge, including propane, fuel and lubricant operations.
•Accepting and processing customer payments.
•Maintaining professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner. Adapt communication style in order to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals.
•Performing other administrative assigned tasks and duties necessary to support operations.
ABOUT YOU: The ideal candidate will have:
•Excellent customer service skills, including superior telephone manners.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
•Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
•Strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
•Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
•Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
•Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required.
•Ability to work well individually or as part of a team.
