Position Overview:

Reporting to the Office Manager, the role of Office Administrator is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, with an emphasis on customer service and data entry. Focusing on effective communication with customers, this role requires a high level of attention to detail with strong analytical, customer service and organizational skills. The right candidate will have prior experience in an office administrator role, with a proven track record of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Position Responsibilities:

•

Respond to in-person, telephone, email and fax inquiries from customers, internal departments and external partners.

•

Assist Service department with general administrative support including generating service work orders and dispatching service technicians.

•

Monitor and maintain office supply inventory; place orders as necessary.

•

Provide general administrative support to various departments, with a focus on data entry, documentation filing and document preparation.

•

Manage outgoing and incoming mail, packages and deliveries.

•

Process customer payments.

•

Organize and plan employee recognition and team building events.

•

Investigate and resolve problems related to areas of responsibility; gather and analyze information and act accordingly.

Position Requirements:

•

Prior customer service and/or office administration experience, 2+ years (required).

•

Commercial roofing and/or general construction experience, 1+ years (strongly preferred).

•

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on active listening. Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

•

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills (required).

•

Excellent time management, organizational and analytical skills.

•

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.

•

Highschool diploma required. College coursework preferred.

Working Conditions:

•

Office environment with typical office machines and exposure to noise and temperature.

•

Extensive sitting, standing, bending, standing, walking are all expected activities. Ability to lift more than 25 lbs. on occasion.

Compensation: Starting at $24.00/hr; BOE
