Strategize with corporate and regional leadership to develop persuasive proposals, strategic presentations and general customer/supplier communications that accurately reflect MRC Global’s value proposition and support the corporate business plans and company goals.

- Understand MRC Global’s vision, mission, and core values, as well as overall business across gas utility, downstream, and up/midstream market segments, to create responses, proposals, and presentations that support MRC Global’s value proposition.
- Strategize with executive, corporate accounts, sales, supply chain, operations, corporate departments, and regional management to develop.
- Response to requests for proposals, requests for information, questionnaires, etc., to gain and/or retain business.
- Prepare presentations for internal and external use that describe MRC Global’s value proposition, company goals, and/or business plans.
- Research and write industry/customer-related articles to be included in internal and external MRC Global websites and publications.
- Develop, conduct, and analyze results of customer satisfaction surveys. Communicate results to internal and external customers.
- Assist in other business development/retention activities as requested.
- Assure compliance with company business processes.

- Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- Knowledge and understanding of business plans, pricing, and product, customer base, and industries served, strong writing, math/analytics, business acumen, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to craft multimedia-based presentations and persuasive proposals using creativity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to establish excellent rapport with upper management, corporate employees, service center employees, vendors, and customers.
- The ability to work as part of a collaborative team, strong listening and communication skills.
- Exceptional multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills to prioritize required duties and ensure timely delivery of information.
- Strong PC skills with knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to learn MRC Global-specific software.
- Must have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.
- Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently to communicate with others, understand and interpret safety instructions, and respond to inquiries.
- Ability to understand and comply with MRC Global guidelines and expectations, including Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest guidelines.
