Most junior marketing roles have you doing the same narrow task for years. This one won't.
The Luxury Pergola is a growing, family-owned manufacturer of premium pergola kits, and we need a Marketing Coordinator who can grow with us. You'll work directly alongside our Marketing Manager — a 30-year marketing veteran — and get hands-on experience across digital advertising, content, email marketing, SEO, social media, and analytics. Not as a spectator. As the person doing the work.
Within 12–24 months, we expect you to independently manage significant portions of our digital marketing — running campaigns, monitoring performance, proposing tests, and making optimization decisions without needing to check in on every move. The long-term trajectory here is real: as we grow, this role grows into something bigger.
This is a great fit if you're the kind of person who figures things out, takes initiative before being asked, and gets energized by owning outcomes rather than waiting for instructions. It's not the right fit if you need constant direction or prefer a highly structured corporate environment.
You'll support and eventually own execution across our core marketing channels:
- Write clear, persuasive short-form content — ad copy, email campaigns, social media posts, landing page copy, and web content
- Support digital advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Advertising, and Pinterest — monitoring performance, recommending optimizations, and managing campaign details
- Draft, design, and deploy email and SMS campaigns in Klaviyo
- Maintain our organic social media presence across platforms
- Conduct keyword research and support SEO efforts
- Pull data from Google Analytics, ad platforms, and CRM tools to track performance and identify opportunities
- Create regular performance reports and make data-driven improvement recommendations
You won't be expected to know all of this on day one. Digital advertising, analytics tools, and platform-specific skills are all trainable. What we can't train is how you think, how you write, and whether you take ownership of your work.
Above all, you need to be a strong writer — concise, clear, and persuasive with a good vocabulary. If you can write well, we can teach you everything else. Beyond that, we're looking for someone who figures things out independently and takes ownership of their work. You'll wear multiple hats, and "that's not my job" isn't something you'd ever say. If you've taught yourself marketing skills, started projects on your own initiative, or dug into problems that weren't technically your responsibility — we want to hear about it. The litmus test: within 12–24 months, if your manager went on a two-week vacation, could you keep things running without calling for help? If that sounds like a challenge you'd welcome, keep reading.
