Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating with marketing and sales organizations as well as operational functions across the business throughout the United States and global teams where applicable, to support the marketing plan and sales support efforts. This position will be responsible for our comprehensive event, social media and association strategies as well as sales tool management, enablement support and partner marketing support. The team member will also manage multiple external vendors and suppliers.

This role will require a positive, can-do attitude, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and a desire to keep our team moving forward through new and creative approaches to classic marketing tactics

Our Marketing Coordinator contributions to the Centrica Business Solutions’ team include:

- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to create and execute various company strategies

- Marketing coordination

- Marketing administration, including, but not limited to, database management, data entry, lead management, reporting, vendor management, etc.

- Event & Trade show coordination & support

- Marketing communications within the business including reporting, Internal platform posting, and sharing marketing initiatives

- Budget tracking and reporting

- Public Relations Management and case study support

- Sales tool support- creation and enablement/ availability (both internal and external, i.e. will function as sales asset management repository administrator)

- Campaign support as needed

- Social Media management, including content planning, post creation, and development of supportive graphics

- Association marketing support, including relationship building and content and ad placement

The core components of success are (i.e. must haves):

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field or equivalent experience

- 2-5 years of successful experience in marketing coordination and support

- Active Driver’s License

The following are a definite plus, so if you’ve got any of these be sure to tell us!

- Previous experience in the energy industry

- Experience with a CRM, preferably Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
