We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager, Sales to lead growth across the West Region. In this highimpact leadership role, you will guide a team of experienced sales professionals-including one District Regional Sales Representative who will report directly to you-and partner closely with local and regional leadership to advance Thermon's mission and core values of Care, Commit, Collaborate.

As a key ambassador of our organization, you will drive regional sales strategy, cultivate strong customer relationships, and empower your team to exceed expectations in a fastpaced, matrixed environment. This role may occasionally require work outside standard business hours to meet critical deadlines.


Key ResponsibilitiesAccountabilities

- Accountable for growing the territory/region revenue with supportive margins through new projects, new customers, organic growth, market share acquisition, expanding markets (West Region), and by effectively managing Sales Channel Partners-including training, developing, driving them to grow the business, and adding or canceling partners as necessary.

- Design and execute strategic sales plans that expand Thermon's customer base and strengthen regional presence.

- Provide budget planning and allocation oversight in alignment with the Delegation of Authority (DOA).

- Establish clear regional guidelines, processes, and performance standards for the sales team.

- Deliver consistent, accurate sales forecasts that support longterm business strategy.

- Achieve market share growth and meet profit and grossmargin targets through effective coaching and leadership.

- Lead and develop your sales team, including recruiting, setting MBOs, training, performance management, and ongoing professional development.

- Create the annual sales business plan and drive continuous improvement in strategy execution.

- Evaluate territory performance, analyze market potential, and collaborate with leadership to set appropriate quotas and targets.

- Build and develop sales competencies across the team.

- Ensure accurate and timely opportunity tracking within the CRM (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).

- Represent Thermon externally by visiting customers, supporting key projects, and strengthening long-term relationships.

- Ensure customer concerns are handled promptly and escalate issues outside your authority.

- Provide feedback and strategic insights to internal departments on market conditions, competitive landscape, customer needs, and business opportunities.

- Partner with credit, collections, and marketing teams to support account health and deal success.

- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Distribution, Engineering Technology, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

- 10+ years of progressive experience in Sales or Business Development; experience in leadership roles required. - 5+ years managing teams, directly or indirectly.

- Experience with refining, petrochemical projects, or construction environments strongly preferred.

- Ability to communicate complex electrical distribution solutions to engineering audiences.

- Proven track record of growing a territory or region.


Physical Requirements

- Willing and able to travel up to 50%.

- Able to move between customer sites, office locations, and manufacturing facilities.

- Able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods as needed.
