Maintenance Technician

Regional Utilities has been a trusted provider of water and wastewater services in South Walton since 1985. Formed through a franchise agreement with Walton County, Regional Utilities was established to ensure that this fast-growing coastal region receives dependable, high-quality utility services. Through the agreement, we have the exclusive right to construct, operate, and maintain the critical infrastructure that supports the health, economy, and environment of the communities we serve.

Assist in inspection, installation, maintenance and repairs of water leaks, stoppages, lines, sewers, valves and fire hydrants related to water distribution lines and wastewater systems. Utilizes tools and equipment to perform duties. Ensure vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and operated. Restores work sites to serviceable conditions. Turns water service on/off. Responds to operations, maintenance, and repair in emergency situations as required. Completes work for customer service calls by responding to service call requests. Completes records and reports as necessary.

Applicants must have:

- A high school diploma or equivalent

- A valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
