Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks across various systems and equipment within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, welding techniques, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of our equipment.

Responsibilities

- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

- Troubleshoot electrical issues, including low voltage and high voltage systems.

- Perform stick welding and fabrication tasks as needed.

- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters to assess equipment functionality.

- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems effectively.

- Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs and installations.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

- Document maintenance activities and report any significant findings or recommendations for improvements.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in an industrial setting.

- Proficiency in stick welding and fabrication techniques.

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including both low voltage and high voltage applications.

- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.

- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

- Relevant certifications or training in industrial maintenance or electrical work is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
