Position Description:
Responsible for the receipt, storage, issue, transfer and delivery functions of stock and non-stock material for Transmission/Distribution Operations, Generation, and the Corporate Community. Ensures all stock and stocking areas are identified, organized, and maintained in a uniform and safe manner.
Essential Job Tasks:
- Picks, prepares, and delivers issue and transfer material by scheduled customer date.
- Ensures outgoing material is accurate, complete, labeled, and securely packaged.
- Delivers materials to outlying locations as necessary.
- Receives, inspects, processes, and places in inventory all incoming stock material.
- Electronically notifies customer of all non-stock receipts.
- Processes discrepancies and notifies appropriate requisitioner, Distribution Forecast Analyst, or Buyer.
- Ensures receipts are processed within the same working day.
- Maintains inventory at a minimum 97.0% item accuracy.
- Ensures inventory is received, stored, and issued based on FIFO inventory rotation; and appropriate housekeeping is maintained in all work and storage areas.
- Ensures all non-stock inventory is properly identified and labeled.
- Maintains working stock at inventory levels sufficient to accommodate historical usage.
- Generates and processes working stock replenishment orders using Operation’s assigned activity-based project and task number.
- Monitors fuel deliveries, dispensers and tanks for spills and leaks.
- Performs monthly Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Underground Storage Tank, Transformer, and Equipment leak inspections and retains the required documentation.
- Provides daily routine inspections as needed. Acts as back-up to the Senior Logistics and Inventory Control Specialist at outlying locations as needed to cover occasions when they are not available.
- Provides Job Site Deliveries to the Line Crews for critical needed items.
- Required to cover on-call warehouse material requirements.

Position Requirements:
Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist B- High school Diploma/GED + 2 years experience in shipping, receiving, and stores within a computerized inventory environment.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows based PC applications.
- Must have Forklift Certification. Underground Storage Tank Class "C" Operator Certification required after 1 year of hire date.
Compensation Information:
$22.00 - $27.45 (min. - mid.)
Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist C
- High school Diploma/GED required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows based PC applications.
- Must have Forklift Certification. Underground Storage Tank Class "C" Operator Certification required after 1 year of hire date.
Compensation Information:
$17.85 - $22.30 (min. - mid.)
