Job Title: Inventory Systems Coordinator | Solar Operations
The Opportunity Are you a natural organizer who enjoys creating order out of chaos? We are a medium-sized, mission-driven Commercial Solar company looking for an Inventory Systems Coordinator to serve as the backbone of our service operations.
This is a unique, high-trust role. You will be the primary steward of our materials and tools across several California facilities. While the physical organization of parts is a key part of the job, your real mission is to design and maintain the systems that keep our field technicians successful.
- Clear Path to Leadership: This position is a training ground. We are looking for someone we can promote into Project Management or Operations Leadership as the company expands.
- Independence & Variety: You aren’t stuck behind a desk. You’ll enjoy the autonomy of managing your own schedule and traveling between our beautiful California locations (Bay Area, Central Valley, and SoCal).
- Impact: Your work directly enables the transition to clean energy. Without your precision, the solar grid doesn't get built.
- Operational Oversight: Maintain and organize storage facilities to ensure they are safe, efficient, and fully stocked.
- System Development: Design and implement a user-friendly "check-out" system for technicians to track tools and materials.
- Strategic Coordination: Partner with our procurement and logistics teams to ensure our supply chain is seamless.
- Data Integrity: Conduct weekly physical inventories and perform "root cause" analysis to solve any stock discrepancies.
- A Natural Problem-Solver: You love the satisfaction of a well-organized space and a logical process.
- Detail-Oriented: You notice the small things that others miss.
- Reliable & Autonomous: You take pride in "owning" your domain and don't need micro-managing.
- Communicative: You enjoy collaborating with a diverse team of technicians and vendors.
- Physically Capable: You are comfortable with the physical aspects of inventory, including lifting materials when necessary.
- Experience in inventory, retail management, logistics, or a highly organized administrative role.
- Comfortable using technology to track data (training will be provided on our specific systems).
- Bonus Points: Familiarity with WMS/ERP systems or a background in the trades/renewables.

- Dental insurance
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
